Devoted audience member-to props geek I went.

Hello Rocky lovers! I was born and raised in a small town in northern California (Brentwood, but it's completely separate from the one where OJ lives). Living here, I was cut off from the pop culture world of Rocky until my older sister saw a live performance in high school and she spoke of being terrified and finding it quite bizarre. All the while, I was thinking how awesome in sounded. So, some months later I found my way into being able to see a show, and I was blown away at how cool it was. Although I managed to watch the movie several times after that, it wasn't until 10 years later, when Barely Legal did it, that I saw it live again...and now they're stuck with me :)

What do you do on cast?
I am on props, on stage right. Which means I get to help move Rocky's tank, act as a water bottle, run around like a crazy person moving objects out of cast members ways, and assisting on clean up (oh and yelling call back lines).
What made you want to join Barely Legal?
Because they are all totally a bunch of extremely talented and inspiring people to be around. I actually really mean this. When I first found out about Barely Legal, it was at SF pride last year. They had given me a flyer and at a time when I was being a personal nurse to my mother battling breast cancer. These people became my oxygen to get me through another week...Thanks guys!!!!
What appeals to you about Rocky Horror?
Hmm guys in heels!!! Tim Curry!!!! Girls dressed scantily clad (my favorite lol), and the pure craziness of it all.
What is your favorite Rocky Horror related moment?
Well, one of my favorites was seeing Nate dressed up as Rudolph at last year's holiday show. It was so hilarious, but the night I became on props still beats that out.
What do you do when you're not at Rocky Horror?
I am a department manager at Barnes and Noble where I live, which takes up a good portion of my life. However, it has brought me a lot of success in the last 3 years.
Aside from Rocky, what is your favorite obsession?
Angelina Jolie!!!! She is after all the most gorgeous woman alive (sigh) so yeah she's plastered everywhere in my room. Harry Potter of course, I love the books, movies, and the whole English thing (btw I can do a wicked accent), and I even own a Nimbus 2000 flying broom. And just other things like Disneyland (or Disney), Rent, Little Shop of Horrors, and Horror movies.
